I am the guy that bought all the cornbread on the 8th of Feb.....I am the guy that sent it to my very good friend in Oregon....she by the way is suffering from Lukemia Cancer......and for Valentines Day I sent
her some of your cornbread....we had talked about it.....and she kept saying...oooooeee.....sounds yummy to me..... I knew she would enjoy it.....she was having a friend over for Valentines Day night dinner and thought the Cornbread would be just the finishing touch for her dinner......weeeellllllll I will let you read her email to me and let you get a giggle out of what happened and how she enjoyed it.......she could not wait the next morning to have some more....and she is not a morning breakfast eater.....just coffee...but she sure had a piece of cornbread with it...ehheheh

Well, Rena stopped by maybe a half an hour before Laurie was due and I was just getting the cornbread ready to go into the oven (I'll have to tell you all the dumb things that transpired in it's making) Anyway, she left, almost immediately when Laurie showed up. Anyway, piping hot out of the oven, I gave her a muffin to take home with her.,,,Aha!! a muffin you say.....Well, yes, a muffin. Seems like my 9x9 pan is at a friends house and I didn't know what to do, so I used a muffin tin, but there was still lots of batter after filling 12 muffin holes, so I used a small loaf pan for the rest....It/they turned out PERFECTLY and muffins were
kinda a nicer way to serve them warm with butter alongside the brisket. OK, so here is the NEXT dippy thing your west coast friend did....I blended the eggs and milk, added the mix, blended that, till it was just
right, got a phone call, came back and poured all 12 muffins into their little cups, realized I had too much, greased the loaf pan and poured the rest of the batter into the pan.....I turned and noticed the half a stick of butter that was to be melted and added to the batter...Poohy!!! Well, NO WAY was I going to scoop out all those muffins etc I would have lost too much batter in the process, so I melted the butter, poured a teaspoon on top of each muffin and the rest into the loaf pan...I mixed the cornbread in the pan, with a spoon....then I mixed each little muffin cup batter thingy, with a cocktail stirer... hehe, it took a little while to blend it all well without slopping it all over. So...that is my cornbread story......OK, now for what you REALLY wanted to hear....... YES!!!! YES!!! YES!!!! .....how scrumptious it is. YUMMMMMMYGOOOD I can't wait to hit send on this letter so I can go get me one for breakfast....Funny tho, Laurie ate two right off the cooling rack, as soon as Rena was out the door. She is in love with them, as well as I (and obviously, you).....I am hoping to be able to hold off making the peanut butter one till Ralph's next visit...(He would simply love it).
Well....another hit.....took some Lemon Cornbread to a funeral in Detroit over the weekend.....great comments.....

My name is Beth, I first had "your"cornbread at a flea market. I never before had tasted cornbread and liked it instantly. I tasted a couple of different flavors and liked the first one (the original). I then had my family taste it because they never tasted cornbread before either. Needless to say, I bought a couple of bags. I made it at home and my family couldn't eat it fast enough. I used up my 2 bags and I've been looking in different food stores for cornbread. I've bought a couple of different brands, but we all seem to like the bags I bought from the flea market.
Please help me, where can I buy this great tasting cornbread? Please help me out, my family wants more of your delicious cornbread.
Thank you so much, Beth
